Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our oneQ products. Therefore, your purchase comes with two types of warranty: the statutory warranty to which you, as a consumer, are always entitled, and our own 2-year manufacturer's warranty. On this page, you can read what both entail and how to claim warranty. This warranty page is part of our general terms and conditions.
Statutory warranty (conformity)
As a consumer, you are always entitled to the statutory warranty. This means that a product must meet what you can reasonably expect from it: it must be sound and have the properties necessary for normal use.
- The statutory warranty has no fixed term. How long a product should last depends on what you can reasonably expect from it, given its price and type. For a durable product like a barbecue, this can be longer than 2 years.
- If a defect appears within one year after receipt, we assume that the product was already faulty upon delivery, unless we prove otherwise. After that, we may ask you to make it plausible that the defect was not caused by use or wear.
- If a product is not satisfactory, you are entitled to free repair or replacement. If this is not possible (in time), you can request an appropriate price reduction or dissolve the purchase.
These statutory rights always apply. Our manufacturer's warranty below is in addition to them and does not detract from them.
Our manufacturer's warranty: 2 years
In addition to the statutory warranty, we provide a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects, calculated from the date of purchase. If a defect occurs within that period due to production or the material used, we will resolve it free of charge for you.
In the event of a valid claim under this warranty, we will choose the most appropriate solution: repair, replacement, or refund (or a reasonable price reduction). We will discuss this with you.
When does the warranty not apply?
The manufacturer's warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, but not damage caused by use or external factors. The warranty expires or does not apply if the damage is the result of, among other things:
- incorrect, careless, or improper use of the barbecue or an accessory, or use contrary to the supplied manual and user instructions;
- insufficient or incorrect maintenance, or improper storage;
- normal wear and tear and aging, and wear-and-tear parts [e.g., grates, burners, seals]
- modifications, repairs, or additions performed by you or by third parties without our permission;
- external causes, such as falling, impact, frost, moisture, fire, or weather influences;
- the use of non-original parts or accessories not suitable for the product.
The fact that the manufacturer's warranty does not apply in these cases does not affect your statutory rights: if a product, despite normal use, does not meet what you could expect, you can still invoke the statutory warranty.
How to claim warranty?
- Send an email to one-q@growyourbrand.nl with a description of the problem.
- If possible, include photos or a video and state your order number or proof of purchase.
- We will assess your report and let you know as soon as possible what solution we offer. We may ask you to send the product (or a part) for assessment or to provide images.
Good to know
- Keep your proof of purchase; we need it to verify your claim under the manufacturer's warranty.
- Follow the manual and maintenance advice. This will keep your product in good condition and prevent discussions about the warranty.
- Did you receive a damaged product? Then you are not covered by warranty but by our return/complaint process; in that case, please contact us immediately.
