The Socket is needed to fit a oneQ Flame or Glow. After cutting the correct recess, the Socket is inserted first and then the Flame or Glow. See also the fitting instructions.
Depending on the type of recess you make, you may also need a Built-in Adaptor (see installation manual for explanation).
